Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and active GA or compact licensure.
Details
- Work in a Pulmonary/Thoracic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with a varying schedule
- 3 shifts per week on a 12-week contract
- No on-call responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or pulmonary/thoracic nursing experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer acceptance
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff who have transitioned to travel nursing must have a 2-year break before returning to this facility as a traveler
- EMR experience should be noted within your work history
