Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 1+ year of experience for a 17-week contract in a Diagnostic Radiology setting in Syracuse, NY.

Details

  • Diagnostic Radiology unit in an acute care hospital setting in Syracuse, NY
  • Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
  • Cases include orthopedic, neurology, urology, and general surgery
  • GE OEC C-arms used for fluoroscopic and surgical procedures
  • 4x10 hour day shifts per week, every other weekend (EOW)
  • 17-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) experience
  • Current ARRT certification and BLS required
  • NYS Radiologic Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
  • Experience with GE OEC C-arms for orthopedic, neurology, urology, and general surgery cases
  • Ability to adapt to emergent situations and work with a diverse patient population (neonate through geriatric)
  • Two supervisor or manager references from within the last year required for consideration
  • Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopic procedures across a variety of surgical and clinical specialties
  • Scrubs provided by the facility
