Description

American Traveler is hiring an ARRT-certified CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract at a community hospital in the Pickerington, OH area, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in a community hospital CT department within a 96-bed facility featuring six ORs, two procedure rooms, labor and delivery, a 20-bay infusion clinic, and a 12-bed ICU/acuity adaptable unit
• Performs diagnostic CT procedures following ARRT and facility guidelines
• GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment in use
• Epic EMR
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every fourth weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• On-call rotation included

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS required
• Ohio Radiologic License (ODH) required — license required if applicable
• Experience with Canon and/or GE CT equipment strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Perform and complete diagnostic CT procedures, prepare patients for examinations, and conduct routine radiographic studies
• Responsible for radiation safety for both operator and patient
• Properly positions patients for procedures in accordance with department policy
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the central Columbus, OH facility location to be eligible for this position
