Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of Adult ICU experience for a travel assignment at a large acute care hospital covering multiple units including ICU, NICU, ED, and more.
Details
- Large acute care hospital with 507 beds and 57 bassinettes
- Registered Respiratory Therapy department covering Adult ICU, Neurosurgical ICU, Regional NICU, L&D, Med-Surg floors, ED, and other areas as needed
- Diverse patient population spanning adult critical care, neonatal, obstetric, and general medical-surgical patients
- Equipment includes Dräger ventilators, V60, V30, various CPAP/BiPAP units, vest therapy, MetaNeb, Airvo, Vapotherm, NOxBOx for Nitric Oxide delivery
- Charting performed in Epic
- 4 days on / 7 days off schedule
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Minimum 1 year of Adult ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- 2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services across a broad range of units throughout the hospital
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a different pay rate
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Resume with no gaps in work history required for consideration
