Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Dual) with 3+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a JCAHO-accredited regional health center in Northwestern Arizona serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities.

• Inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging setting at a JCAHO-accredited regional health center serving a 4,400 square mile area
• Specialties served include Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Radiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the radiology field with CT specialization
• Current ARRT(R) certification with advanced CT qualification — ARRT(CT) required
• Current AZ state license in Radiology required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Proficiency with teleradiology and fax equipment required
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Operates radiologic x-ray equipment and processes radiographic images for inpatient and outpatient cases
• Orientation sessions are held every two weeks
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
• Flu vaccination required; exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
• Facility is located in a rural area; on-site housing may be available but is not guaranteed — a housing application must be submitted at least two weeks prior to start
• Fingerprinting is required prior to start and is completed during the compliance process via mail
