Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with RVT credentials and specialized experience in arterial, venous, carotid, and graft studies for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based vascular ultrasound unit
• Performs arterial, venous, carotid, and graft studies with direct impact on emergent clinical decisions such as DVT, carotid stenosis, and arterial occlusion
• Epic EMR preferred
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of vascular ultrasound experience required; 3 years preferred
• RVT credential required
• Specialized training in arterial, venous, carotid, and graft studies required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted
• Vascular ultrasound experience is not interchangeable with general ultrasound experience for this role
