Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a high-volume night shift position requiring ARRT and MD Board of Physicians certification.
Details
- Hospital-based CT department with 2 CT rooms
- Daily caseload of approximately 150 studies per day
- Studies include emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases such as neuro, cardiac, contrast studies, and other high-volume imaging
- Preferred experience with neonates, infants, and adult ICU patients (not required)
- Charting performed in Cerner
- Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
- Orientation is held every Monday
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- At least one prior travel assignment required
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- MD Board of Physicians certification required
- Current BLS required
- MD state license required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform high-volume CT imaging including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient studies across neuro, cardiac, contrast, and related modalities
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Scrubs are not provided; required uniform is wine-colored top with black bottoms
- Any time off or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
- First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

I do not have anything negative other than you need to fight with sone to all9w you gain some admission, emergency and critical patient stabilisation experience since they invade such patients which may leave you hanging while the resuscitation happens.
