Description
American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active ARDMS and RVT credentials for a 13-week assignment supporting both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital.
Details
- Supports both an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital setting
- Vascular ultrasound department with experience in vascular procedures required
- Alternating day and evening shifts with a variable weekly schedule combining 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
- Shift start times vary: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, and 8:30 AM–9:00 PM
- Weekend rotation of 12-hour shifts approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks
- No on-call requirements
- Charting via Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience required
- Vascular experience is required
- Active ARDMS credential in one or more of the following specialties: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Pediatric, or MSK (multiple specialty credentials preferred)
- Active RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program; qualifying education includes a two-year Allied Health certificate, an AAS degree, or a bachelor's degree
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no RTO will be approved during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of RTO are permitted per assignment
- Navy blue scrubs are required for Ultrasound Technologists
