Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist for an overnight shift position at an acute care hospital imaging department, with GE CT scanner experience preferred and ARRT (CT) certification required.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based CT imaging department
• Shift hours are 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 13-week contract
• Rotating shifts may be required per facility policy
• EMR system: Epic and Visage

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this facility
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
• GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency in CT scanning, IV contrast administration, and oral/GI contrast administration
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency in accordance with established policies, protocols, and guidelines
• Responsibilities include IV and oral/GI contrast administration, EMR documentation, and ensuring patient safety throughout all procedures
• Works under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead
• Candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
• Time keeping system: UKG/Kronos
• No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking is available nearby at the candidate's expense
• Any approved time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
