Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a CT Scan department at an acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• CT Scan department within a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services
• Department staffed with radiologists, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs totaling approximately 14 staff members
• Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Procedures include CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays
• All GE equipment in use, including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
• EMR system is Meditech; GE and Meditech experience strongly preferred
• Thursday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
• On-call required approximately 4–6 shifts per month on off days
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Florida State DOH license required if applicable
• Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR strongly preferred
• Strong communication, medical, and anatomical knowledge
• Ability to multi-task and collaborate with a variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients
• Two professional references required for this position
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
• Black scrubs required; must be provided by the candidate
