Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience in a high-volume acute care setting, including Level III trauma experience, for a CT Scan unit position in Concord, NC.

Details

• CT Scan department within a 457-bed acute care teaching hospital, designated as a Trauma Level III center with a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center of Excellence, and Bariatric Center of Excellence
• Serves ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:45 AM – 7:30 PM
• 40 hours per week on a 4-week schedule cycle
• Uses Siemens and GE CT equipment; EMR is Epic
• No floating required
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Weekend rotation and on-call requirements discussed during interview

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience in a high-volume acute care setting
• Level III trauma and ED/inpatient experience required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Current BLS required
• NC State Licensure is not required; active license required if applicable
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Department is supported by Radiology Nursing and Transport staff
• Orientation is 3–5 days, departmental, depending on modality
• RTO requires manager approval
• Black scrubs required

• Former permanent employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
