Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Critical Access Hospital, with first-time travelers welcome and facility-provided housing and vehicle included.

Details

• Acute care medical center with long-term care and outpatient services, designated as a Level IV Trauma Critical Access Hospital with 46 acute care beds and 22 LTC beds
• CT Scan unit with responsibility to float and cover X-ray within clinical scope as needed
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required, including weekend call coverage
• Epic EMR; experience required
• Facility provides housing (typically a 1-bedroom apartment) and a vehicle for use during the assignment
• Free parking on site

Requirements

• BLS and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active professional license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance with rental car coverage to operate the facility-provided vehicle

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must also meet the 50-mile radius requirement
• RTO is minimal; a small number of days may be approved, but significant RTO requests may hinder the process
• Any RTO or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront; post-offer requests are subject to denial
• Scrub color is open (any color) or business casual attire
• Pets are not permitted in facility-provided housing
• Housing accommodates the traveler only; bringing additional family members requires facility approval
• Housing is available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract start and must be vacated within 24 hours of contract end; unit must be cleaned upon departure or a cleaning fee will be charged
• The facility-provided vehicle is for local use only (within 30 miles of facility) and must be returned cleaned and with a full tank of gas; it is not available during any time off periods
