Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a low-volume inpatient rehab and LTACH/ICU facility in Alaska, with first-time travelers welcome and on-call requirements.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab Facility and LTACH/ICU setting with 10 ICU beds and 46 inpatient rehabilitation beds
- Low-volume imaging environment
- CT coverage using a GE 16-slice scanner; X-ray coverage using a Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required 2–3 nights per week
- Weekend availability required
- Clinicians should expect to float to a nearby affiliated medical center to assist with staffing needs
- Block scheduling can be accommodated
- Charting via Epic (required)
- Free on-site parking
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- Active BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Active professional license required at time of consideration — license required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination
- Time off requests are approved on an individual basis; only one RTO request is permitted per 13-week assignment
- Any scrub color is acceptable
