Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist (Radiologic Technologist - MR) for a 13-week contract in a Neuro MRI clinic setting, requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience.
Details
- Outpatient clinic MRI unit specializing in Neuro imaging
- Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts with no on-call, overnight, or weekend requirements
- Shift assignment will be either a day shift (rotating between 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM) or an evening shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), based on business need at time of offer — candidates will not rotate between the two
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- Epic used for charting
- On-site only — no telework options
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required
- Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required, and/or 3 completed travel assignments
- Active MR license required, if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent work skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Produces high-quality MRI images that meet established radiology department standards
- Practices safety guidelines for self, patients, and support personnel
- Maintains flexibility across various work locations and shift configurations as needed
- First-time travelers will not be considered — prior travel experience (or equivalent) is required for this Rochester, MN facility
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
- Date of birth (DOB) is required for consideration
