Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel IR Special Procedures Technologist with experience in angiography and non-interventional radiology (NIR) for a 26-week assignment in the Boston, MA area.

Details

  • Work in an angiography unit at a major academic medical center in the Boston, MA area
  • Procedures include interventional radiology (IR) angiography and non-interventional radiology (NIR)
  • Equipment includes Siemens, Philips, and GE imaging systems
  • Charting via Epic EMR
  • Schedule options include 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts; days of the week to be determined
  • Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with potential for extra late coverage
  • Weeknight and on-call coverage preferred
  • 26-week contract

Requirements

  • Current BLS certification (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location)
  • ARRT certification required
  • Active MA state Radiology license required — no conditional or pending licenses accepted; license required if applicable
  • Experience in IR angiography and NIR procedures
  • Proficiency with Siemens, Philips, and/or GE imaging equipment
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
  • 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Perform IR angiography and non-interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity academic medical center setting
  • Candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local and subject to a reduced pay rate
  • No validated parking is available at Boston-area locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 per day; public transportation is encouraged
  • Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
