Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week inpatient acute care travel assignment at a hospital in Derry, NH.
Details
- Inpatient physical therapy unit within an 86-bed main hospital
- Average caseload of 10 patients per day
- Responsibilities include evaluations and treatments with an emphasis on caseload prioritization
- Co-treatment with OT is part of regular practice on the unit
- Schedule is 36 hours per week, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with the option of four 9-hour days or spread across five days
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Documentation via Meditech Expanse
- Rehab secretary support available Monday through Friday
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PT experience required
- Active NH PT license required; license must be in hand prior to consideration
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Must have active clinical experience within the last 6 months in the role
- Strong ability to evaluate, treat, and prioritize a caseload of inpatient patients
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

- Position is located more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Staff are highly experienced, with most holding 10 or more years of tenure
- Scrubs are acceptable attire
- License required if applicable
