Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract performing diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures in support of ED physicians.

Details

• CT imaging unit within a hospital setting
• Performs routine and specialized X-ray and CT imaging procedures in support of ED diagnosis and treatment
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Proficiency in contrast administration and bolus tracking required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging, maintaining accurate patient records, completing routine daily equipment QA procedures and documentation, and stocking and cleaning rooms as needed
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid anything that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but required years of experience noted in the job description are firm
