Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital setting with 23 total staff beds
• Med/Surg Tele unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Night shift schedule (7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend required at minimum
• Floating between sister facilities within the state is required when census does not support unit need
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a comparable Med/Surg Tele setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Scrub color: any color accepted
• No parking fee at the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests must be submitted upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
