Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an academic medical center IR unit, requiring BLS and ARRT certification.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within an academic medical center setting
• Schedule is either 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (7:30 AM–4:00 PM); scheduling details can be discussed during the interview
• One weekday call shift per week and one weekend call shift every two months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• VA state license required; candidates may be considered with a pending license as work can begin under VA temporary authorization
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• All OR-based roles require both circulate and scrub experience
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Any planned time off between the sign date and start date should be communicated in advance to ensure an appropriate start date can be arranged
