Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 16-week acute care imaging assignment.
Details
- Acute care hospital imaging department
- 12-hour varied shifts with on-call as needed
- Epic EMR used in this position
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Radiography and 1 year of CT experience required
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), and BLS required
- Proficiency with PACS and Epic EMR
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations as ordered by providers and directed by radiologists, determining appropriate positioning and scan parameters for each study
- Review images for clarity and accuracy to ensure exam is read-ready for radiologist interpretation
- Monitor console display to adjust density and contrast appropriately
- Ensure correct patient identification is applied to all images
- Online modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment
- COVID vaccination or a signed declination form is required; unvaccinated staff must wear masks
