Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Department night shift contract in West Virginia, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Emergency Department (ER) in an acute care hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with weekends as scheduled
• Epic EMR is used in this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• A copy of an unexpired driver's license is required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before applying
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for more than one cumulative year without a subsequent 2-year break
• Any licensing hits or disciplinary actions must be disclosed upfront
• Two supervisor and peer references are required for consideration, including one supervisor reference from any permanent facility worked within the last 12 months
