Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down/Med-Surg Telemetry Unit position in Knoxville, TN, requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and Cerner proficiency.
Details
- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Med/Surg Telemetry Unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 5:1
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Step Down or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- A valid driver's license is required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Must complete Advanced Learning Center modules for all required areas
- Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue top (white, royal blue, or black t-shirt permitted underneath)
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
