Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Maysville, KY at a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care facility.

Details

• Work in a Diagnostic Radiology department at a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital
• Serves all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
• Uses a GE CT scanner; EMR is Meditech
• Will also perform X-ray as needed in addition to CT
• No call required for this position, though call shifts are available for those interested
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage expected

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Associate degree or higher required
• ARRT registration in Radiology required; CT registration recommended
• Kentucky Radiation Operator's License required if applicable
• AHA BLS certification required
• Must be proficient in both CT and X-ray imaging
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Additional Information

• Must be able to work independently and perform both CT and X-ray procedures
• Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
• Pewter gray scrubs required
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
• First-time travelers will be considered provided all requirements are met
