Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ, working weekend evening/night shifts and requiring ARRT certification and CT licensure.
Details
- Work in the CT Scanner department of an acute care hospital setting serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Procedures include CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Studies performed with and without contrast media
- Friday through Sunday schedule, 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- ARRT registration required
- State CT license required (license required if applicable)
- Active BLS certification required
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
- Proficiency with routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures required
- Knowledge of surgical/sterile procedures and cross-sectional anatomy required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT scanning under the direction of a Radiologist and per departmental protocols, including studies with and without contrast media and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
