Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and AHA-certified BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Details

• Night shift position, 18:45–07:15
• Emergency Department unit within a hospital setting
• EMR: Cerner
• Every other weekend required
• Any holiday that falls on a regularly scheduled shift must be worked

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Required certifications (all must be AHA-issued): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years)
• CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, updated every 2 years
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced local pay rate
• Cerner EMR experience is beneficial given its use on the unit
• Skills checklist and copies of all certifications and license verification required
