Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT certification (CT and XR) and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a Level I Trauma hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Details

• Large acute care hospital with Level I Trauma designation
• High-volume CT department averaging 270–290 scans per day
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, with every other weekend required
• One weekend of call per assignment and holiday call as assigned
• Uses GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience; candidates with Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered with less
• Large hospital or Level I/II trauma center experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography (XR)
• Current BLS
• Ohio state license required; pending license accepted — license required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE and/or Toshiba/Canon CT equipment
• Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Performs diagnostic CT and routine radiographic procedures in accordance with ARRT and facility guidelines
• Responsible for patient positioning, preparation, and radiation safety for both patient and operator
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
