Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a pediatric Level II Trauma Center, with night shift availability and experience on Siemens CT scanners preferred.

Details

• Children's hospital setting designated as a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staffed beds
• CT Scan unit serving a pediatric acute care and trauma patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:5 per night
• 4x10 hour night shifts from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Sunday nights required (7:00 PM – 5:30 AM)
• No on-call or block scheduling required
• No floating between units within this position
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Siemens CT scanner used — knowledge preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Pediatric acute care and trauma experience preferred
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Current BLS required
• Active state license, if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Familiarity with Siemens CT equipment preferred
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront — RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Scrub color: Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue (RRT designation)
