Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a MO or compact RN license, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating to other units is required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license, currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in PCU or telemetry
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• Cerner experience preferred

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
• At least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract must be worked
• Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration
• The facility operates 24/7, and rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected
