Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab Recovery (Pre/Post) position at a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL, requiring at least 1 year of PACU and Cath Lab Recovery experience.

Details

• Work setting is a 383-bed Level II Trauma Center hospital
• Assignment is in the Cath Lab Recovery unit (Pre/Post)
• Shift hours are 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• Position includes on-call responsibilities
• Every other weekend rotation required, in alignment with hospital staff scheduling
• Holiday rotation required, shared with hospital employees
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PACU and Cath Lab Recovery required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida placement)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Parking is available in an on-site parking garage
