Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in Oregon, performing CT and X-ray imaging with ARRT CT registry certification required.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Radiology – CT/X-ray department
• Single CT scanner/room department with no floating to other areas
• Radiologist on-site until 5:00 PM only
• Average daily volume of 5–10 CT studies and 10–20 X-ray studies during the swing shift
• Imaging includes CT and general X-ray (XR) studies
• McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR in use
• GE X-ray and Toshiba CT equipment
• 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography — RT(R)(CT)
• Oregon requires CT registry through ARRT; Oregon Medical Imaging license required (license required if applicable)
• Active BLS certification required; pending certifications are not accepted
• Active state license required at time of consideration; pending licenses will not be accepted
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Radiation badge preferred but not required at time of initial consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT and general X-ray imaging studies in a single-scanner acute care radiology department
• Orientation includes a department-specific checklist; 12 orientation hours provided
• Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered
