Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a free-standing ED CT Scan unit, requiring ARRT certification with advanced CT registry and dual-modality experience.

Details

• Free-standing emergency department (FSED) with 11 licensed beds, no trauma designation, and a Stroke Center designation
• Services include 24/7 on-site X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound, as well as outpatient imaging
• Patient population includes ED and outpatients, with an average of 70–80 patients/day in the ED and 60–80 in Radiology
• CT equipment includes Siemens go.Top; diagnostic X-ray equipment includes Shimadzu room and portable with Konica software
• EMR is Epic; medication dispensing via OmniCell; patient monitoring via Philips
• 12-hour night shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Holiday coverage is required
• Floating within the facility is possible

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology (dual-modality)
• Most recent experience must be within the last year
• Proficiency with IV starts and 3D rendering using TerraRecon software required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT scanning and diagnostic radiography (dual-modality) for ED and outpatient cases
• Department leadership is available for support
• Orientation includes facility-wide new employee orientation (NEO) plus 2 days of departmental orientation
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at any AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible
• Black scrubs required
