Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a dual-modality (CT and X-ray) night shift position requiring graduation from an accredited radiology program and proficiency in contrast administration.

Details

• Dual-modality position covering CT and X-ray imaging in a hospital setting
• Supports ED physicians in diagnosing and treating patients through diagnostic imaging
• Performs routine and specialized X-ray and CT imaging procedures
• 4x10 hour night shifts, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 26-week contract preferred; minimum of 13 weeks will be considered

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program required
• Proficiency in contrast administration and competent bolus tracking required
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures to support ED physician diagnosis and treatment
• Complete routine daily equipment QA procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Stock and clean imaging rooms as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances that could result in a positive screen, including CBD products
