Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position working night shifts with a high-risk patient population and required certifications including ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• High-risk patient population including preeclampsia with severe features, gestational hypertension, diabetes mellitus, preterm labor, and placental abnormalities
• Performs specialized procedures including D&C, cerclage, and Cook's catheter placement for induction
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating within the L&D specialty required as needed
• Block scheduling and special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated unless submitted with RTO at time of application

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Maryland (MD) or a Compact RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and C-EFM
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience preferred; candidates with strong experience and active certifications may be considered with less than 2 years
• Two professional supervisor references required for consideration
