Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting in Urbana, IL, with new graduates welcome to apply.
Details
- Acute care hospital therapy unit
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- One weekend shift per month required
- No holiday shifts required
- Patient population includes all ages across acute care settings
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Illinois PT license required (if applicable)
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level 1 Trauma experience required
- New graduates will be considered
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and modifying plans of care, and collaborating with the medical team on discharge planning
- Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory standards
- Educates patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers using appropriate teaching methods
- Utilizes standardized outcomes measures and completes documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any location within the system
- RTO is not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract
- Candidates will be interviewed by the facility's clinical leadership prior to selection
