Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 1+ year of ED experience, multiple AHA certifications, and night shift availability including weekends.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital in Golden, CO
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts from 1900–0730
• 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call may be required during a regularly scheduled shift
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Required certifications (all AHA): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS — all must be active and not expire prior to start date
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for emergency department patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and executes delegated medical functions
• Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment and reviews/monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
