Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist at an acute care hospital serving as a STEMI and Stroke receiving center, with experience in cardiac, interventional neuro, and IR procedures preferred.
Details
- Work in a 4-lab cardiac cath lab at an acute care hospital designated as a STEMI and Stroke receiving center
- Procedures include TAVR, TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology
- Epic EMR required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Weekday and weekend call requirements
- May float between specialties within the lab
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, ARRT (or RCIS), and Fluoroscopy Permit required
- State license required if applicable
- Stroke and/or IR experience preferred
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Support cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures — EP and structural heart experience not required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
- Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- All RTO must be submitted at time of consideration — requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Block schedule requests are considered at manager discretion
- Pending licenses are not accepted
