Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift, Monday–Friday contract at an imaging center performing cardiac PET, oncological PET, and SPECT/CT studies, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient imaging center setting with 1 PET/CT scanner and 1 SPECT/CT scanner
- Procedures include cardiac PET, oncological PET FDG, Dotatate, and PSMA studies
- Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends and no call
- 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Floating within the facility per scope of practice and to a secondary campus as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active professional licensure required at time of consideration, if applicable
- Copies of all relevant certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Local candidates are accepted
- RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
- Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility system must have been away for a full year from all system facilities before returning as a traveler
- No schedule change requests or alternate shift requests are permitted; the posted shift is firm
- Two supervisory references (Manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred
