Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and the ability to float across all care areas.
Details
- Hospital setting within a 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center in St. Louis, MO
- Comprehensive overflow Med/Surg unit staffed by an in-house hospitalist team, serving patients from all disciplines and specialties
- Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required to all care areas to care for Med/Surg patients
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Tertiary care facility affiliated with an academic medical school, providing care for the east Missouri region
- Part of a large regional health system
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Complimentary onsite parking garage available
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
