Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week evening shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and community hospital background.
Details
- Short-term acute care community hospital setting with 210 staffed beds
- CT department serving ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
- Required CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Preferred experience with aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
- Charting via Cerner (experience required)
- Siemens equipment experience preferred; FUJI PACS experience preferred
- 3x12-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Saturday through Monday
- Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Active IN or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced Certification required
- IV starts and contrast administration experience required
- PACS experience preferred
- Cerner charting experience required
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
- RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
- Any permanent or PRN employee of the facility must have a 12-month gap in employment before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, effective 2/24/26
- Royal blue scrubs required
