Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week evening shift contract at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring 2+ years of experience and community hospital background.

Details

• Short-term acute care community hospital setting with 210 staffed beds
• CT department serving ER, inpatient, and outpatient populations
• Required CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Preferred experience with aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
• Charting via Cerner (experience required)
• Siemens equipment experience preferred; FUJI PACS experience preferred
• 3x12-hour evening shifts, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Saturday through Monday
• Travelers may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Community hospital experience required
• Active IN or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced Certification required
• IV starts and contrast administration experience required
• PACS experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience required
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates (Indiana residents) are accepted
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• RTO of 5 days or fewer may be auto-approved
• Any permanent or PRN employee of the facility must have a 12-month gap in employment before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within the health system must take a consecutive break to reset eligibility — out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break, effective 2/24/26
• Royal blue scrubs required
