Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with at least 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience, including the ability to float to the EP Lab.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting with float capability to EP Lab and IR
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization, IR, and EP cases, with pacemaker experience expected
- EMR is Epic
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one day off during the week
- Occasional extended shifts to complete end-of-day cases
- Weekday on-call: 1–2 shifts per week from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend on-call: every 3rd or 4th weekend, with weekend shifts required only when on-call
- Holiday coverage based on unit needs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and/or IR experience required; 2 years of Cath/IR and EP experience preferred
- RNs with Cath/IR scrub experience will be considered
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Current ACLS and BLS required
- Ability to float to EP Lab required
- Experience with pacemakers required
- License required if applicable
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation consists of a 2-day system-wide orientation on Monday and Tuesday of the first week, followed by a site-specific orientation on Wednesday
- This is a nicotine-free facility
- New graduates will not be considered for this position
- Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
- Minimal or no RTO can be accommodated during the World Cup period (June 11 – July 19), as manager approvals during that timeframe are not guaranteed
