Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 18 months of permanent experience and a valid OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s only)
- Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
- Every other holiday shift required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact state license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Telemetry prior to any travel assignments
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
- A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation, and an acceptable passing score on both is required
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- Assignments at this health system may not exceed 18 consecutive months, and a minimum 6-month break is required before beginning another assignment at any of their locations
