Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience and an Ohio or Compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit at a major hospital campus
- Potential to float to other units caring for the same patient population
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
- Weekend-only schedule: Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon (Sun/Mon/Tue and Thu/Fri/Sat schedules are not accepted)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Med/Surg Tele required prior to any travel assignments
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required (travel experience counts toward this requirement)
- Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
- Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations
- After completing an assignment, travelers must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
