Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU RN for a Level II Neonatal ICU position requiring active CA RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification with recent specialty experience.

Details

  • Level II NICU in a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule, 36–48 hours per week
  • NICU RNs float as NRP nurses and to the Postpartum unit
  • Postpartum experience is required due to float responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
  • Current NRP certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU specialty experience required
  • Must have worked in the NICU specialty within the last 3 months
  • Clean, unrestricted nursing license required — candidates with a prior license hit will not be considered
  • 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
  • Date of birth and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Float responsibilities include serving as an NRP nurse and covering the Postpartum unit
  • RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer — requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
