Description
American Traveler is seeking a NICU RN for a Level II Neonatal ICU position requiring active CA RN licensure, BLS, and NRP certification with recent specialty experience.
Details
- Level II NICU in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 36–48 hours per week
- NICU RNs float as NRP nurses and to the Postpartum unit
- Postpartum experience is required due to float responsibilities
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
- Current NRP certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU specialty experience required
- Must have worked in the NICU specialty within the last 3 months
- Clean, unrestricted nursing license required — candidates with a prior license hit will not be considered
- 2 supervisor references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past two years
- Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Float responsibilities include serving as an NRP nurse and covering the Postpartum unit
- RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer — requests exceeding 5 days will result in automatic disqualification
