Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Pulmonary Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Acute Pulmonary Unit within a hospital setting, comprised entirely of private rooms with telemetry capability
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients requiring acute care
• 13-week contract with 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR used

Requirements

• Active RN license — GA or compact license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg or acute pulmonary nursing experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Permanent address must match what is listed on Driver's License and RN license

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have at least a 2-year break from the facility before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• 100% credentialing must be completed prior to the start date; conditional starts are not permitted
