Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a teaching hospital, requiring strong orthopedic surgical experience and an active MN RN license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a 317-bed acute care teaching hospital (Level 3 Trauma)
• Primary focus on orthopedic surgical cases, with general surgery as a secondary specialty
• Day and evening shifts available on a 5x8 schedule, with start times of 11:00 and 14:45
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis
• On-call required on an as-needed basis
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs, including to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Charting in Epic (Excellian) — experience required
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience with a strong orthopedic background
• Epic (Excellian) EMR experience required
• At least 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests should not exceed 5 days for the duration of the contract
• Candidates who previously worked at this health system as permanent staff or per diem must have been separated for at least 3 months from their last shift worked
• Pre-employment modules are required to be completed before the start of the assignment
