Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 18 months of experience, including OR experience, for a 13-week assignment in a large acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
• Procedures include general X-Ray imaging with OR experience required
• Experience with GE imaging equipment required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• 3x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
• 30 hours per week
• No on-call required
• Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of X-Ray Technologist experience required
• Must be able to work independently in a high-volume acute care setting
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Comfort and experience working in an OR environment
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Perform and document appropriate imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment readiness and assess patient safety, comfort, and procedure compliance
• Two references required for consideration
• Travelers who reach one calendar year on assignment must take a 30–60 day break before returning to a new assignment
