Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2-3 years of 3D mammography experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based radiology setting.
Details
- Hospital-based mammography unit within a full-service radiology department
- Procedures include 3D mammography screening and diagnostic imaging (23+ cases/day), stereotactic biopsies (2-5/week), DEXA scans (6-12/day), needle localizations and Savi Scout placements (up to 5/week), and post-procedure/specimen imaging (~61 cases/month)
- OR, ED, and portable imaging are also part of the role
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts
- Hours may be subject to change based on departmental needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of current 3D mammography experience required
- Experience with stereotactic biopsy procedures required
- OR, ED, and portable imaging experience required
- Current ARRT certification and applicable state license (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security card for consideration
- Must not reside in Moore County
Additional Information
- Perform high-volume mammography screening and diagnostic exams, stereotactic biopsies, DEXA scans, needle localizations, Savi Scout procedures, and post-procedure specimen imaging
- Role requires flexibility to support OR, ED, and portable imaging as needed
- Candidates residing outside of Moore County are eligible for this position
