Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Siemens proficiency for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in California.
Details
- Work in the CT department of an acute care hospital
- Patient population consists primarily of Emergency Department patients, including trauma cases requiring multiple scans, extremity exams, and high-volume stroke protocols
- Average daily census of 30–50 patients
- 4x10 hour night shifts, 9:30 PM – 7:30 AM
- Floating between all facilities within the state is required and expected
- Charting performed in Epic (required)
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Current CA state license required (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment required
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Pending CA license applicants will not be considered
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; requests made after submission or offer may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Black scrubs required
- Block schedule requests are subject to manager discretion
