Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift position in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting.

Details

Position is based in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) radiology unit
Role combines CT and X-Ray responsibilities
3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
13-week contract

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience, with active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
Current ARRT certification (or equivalent) required; license required if applicable
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
US SSN and DOB required for consideration
Professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Cons

I come from the ICU so I don’t know if it was my lack of PCU experience but it feels like I have to BEG to the point of calling a rapid to have the residents and providers take initiative.
