Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist (CT/XR) with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certifications in Radiography and CT for a 13-week travel contract in Alaska.
Details
- Hospital-based radiology department performing both CT and general radiographic imaging
- Performs diagnostic radiography of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
- Works with patients of all ages across the lifespan
- Monday through Friday mid-shift (evening)
- On-call requirements include the ability to report to work within 20 minutes of being paged
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT/XR experience required
- High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited CT/XR training program
- Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required
- BLS/BCLS required
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to assess and provide age-appropriate care across the full lifespan
- Must be able and willing to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
- DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs diagnostic medical radiography within the department and in other areas of the facility
- Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, supporting the departmental quality assurance program, and transferring patients to and from radiology
- Must exercise professional judgment in procedure performance and apply principles of radiation protection
- Employees work with patients and colleagues of all cultural and religious backgrounds
- Shift rotation may be required
- Required immunization documentation must be submitted for consideration
